CISA’s Women in Agriculture Network Presents: Farmer-Led Roundtable Discussions
North Hadley Sugar Shack, 181 River Road (RT 47), Hadley

Three inspiring and innovative local farmers will share their farm stories and lead small-group discussions based on their experiences. All three women have successfully seen their farms through generational shifts, family decision-making processes, the introduction of innovative products and crops, and sustainable farm growth. Sorrel Hatch of Upinngil Farm is a young farmer who, in partnership with her father, produces a wide and unusual range of products on her farm in Gill, including PYO strawberries, wheat, cheese, and raw milk. Anne Diemand runs Diemand Farm in Wendell with siblings. They produce eggs and meat for wholesale and direct markets, and have expanded their value-added offerings at their farmstand in recent years. Beth Cook of Flayvors of Cook Farm in Hadley runs a dairy, an ice cream shop and restaurant, and a thriving genetics business with her husband and several of her children.

Take a break and come learn from them and from the other women in agriculture in attendance! Join us for the great company, community and food that defines our annual summer meeting. Women who farm, are interested in agriculture, and those that support them are welcome to attend. Dinner is free, but you must RSVP by Friday, June 26th to Devon at 665-7100 x22 or Devon@buylocalfood.org
